Nearly empty cans of latex paint be easily disposed of at curbside using the following guidelines: Remove the lid and solidify the paint by mixing it with shredded newspaper, cat litter or a paint hardener, available at hardware stores. When dry and solid, leave lids off and throw both away with your regular trash. Oil based paint – This type of paint is not as easy to manage at home. Drop it off at a Paint ReNew Location or Household Hazardous Waste collection event. Drop off paint at one of the following Paint ReNew Partner locations:
